Read full description of the books Don't Ever Get Sick at Granny's:This was probably the first fear street book of RL Stine that i read. i absolutely loved it! the mystery , the suspense. The tension and the strange methods of torture or "healing" that granny Marsha uses are very alluring and keep the reader's attention until they can figure out what the hell is going on and what kind of situation the grandson is in. Also....(view spoiler)[ gives a very unique and insightful perspective on what the dog considers his family to be like.... how he considers the girl in the story to be his real sister and so on(view spoiler)[ The sister that he supposedly cant stand in the book is the one that comes back to look for him and help him and he
s never been so glad to see her as he says. i really liked their interactions with each other and how they coped or worked through their situation considering the circumstances. Despite the fact that (view spoiler)[ i would have preferred to have the main character be a human boy instead of a dog who just dreamt up this entire story. (view spoiler)[ i still enjoyed the book and appreciated it for what it was. I would reccomend this to people in their young teens to read if they're bored and maybe even older teens about to hit 18 or 20 . just as a fun read and a good experience. Goosebumps and Fear Street are just so beautifully nostalgic as someone who grew up reading them . Most of the books i read were by Rl stine although i did try to read a book or two by either christopher pike or some other similar author.
