Read full description of the books My Best Friend Is Invisible:Another book from my childhood collection. I bought this book right after reading The Curse of Camp Cold Lake #56. My Best Friend is Invisible is a very unusual book by R.L. Stine about a young boy named Sammy Jacobs who becomes friends with an invisible boy but he ruins everything for Sammy.
Sammy Jacobs is a very competitive boy, who is annoyed by his excessively scientific family. At the time, Sammy believes he is being haunted by a ghost, who keeps getting him into trouble, like making a mess of his room or accidentally tripping him at a track meet. Then, he learns that the ghost is not actually a ghost, but an invisible boy, named Brent Green. Brent claims he just wants a friend, but he messes things up all the time for Sammy. In fact, people have started to believe that Sammy has gone insane. In the end, there is a huge surprise when the invisible boy is revealed to Sammy’s family.
The best part in the book is the twist ending. In the end, there is a huge surprise when the invisible boy is revealed to Sammy’s family. I didn't expect that ending! It blew me away.
Would you call a human a monster? Could a human be an endangered species? Read this book and you'll really be surprised.
