Read full description of the books Marriage - A Home Series Celebration:There is nothing that I love more than when an author writes a short story giving me a glimpse into the characters' lives whom I adore. I have been completely entranced with Cardeno C.'s 'Home' series so I loved the opportunity to revisit each of the couples particularly during such an emotional topic as the repeal of DOMA and growth of marriage equality. The author wrote this as a mini anthology, showcasing each of my beloved characters from the six books within the series, so far.
Jonathan and David. I loved their romance so much and watching Jonathan and their son, Sam, proposing to David, brought tears to my eyes. Seeing them so insanely happy and healthy and whole as a family unit just made me smile. Noah and Clark. They were the first book in the series and even though I've seen them within the contexts of some of the other books, it was heartwarming to visit with the focus just on them. Noah has come so very far in his personal journey and it was refreshing to see the difference that ten years has made for him. Ben and Micah. Ben is so happy and relaxed now, not suffering from the horrible anxiety and depression that plagued him for years. He and Micah, along with their twin son and daughter, have made a beautiful life together and I wasn't surprised that Micah wanted to make it permanent. Andrew and Caleb. Still each other's best friend and just because everyone else might be doing it, Andrew and Caleb nevertheless feel that their friendship and love is far more valuable than a marriage license. Zach and Aaron. Zach remains one of my very favorite characters in the series and watching him again filled me with a sense of contentment. Yep, I'm still very much in love with Aaron and that shy, sweet smile of his. What Zach planned and managed to carry out for his "übertraditional" boyfriend was beyond awesome and I loved Zach even more because if of it. Ahhhhh, Jake and Nate. I loved that their decision to move home to their small town turned out to still be the best one. Jake and Nate share such an incredible connection and their life with their daughter is so happy and fulfilled. Just what I wanted for all my couples and it looks like they got it.
Thank you, Cardeno, for bringing all of my guys back together in a short story that I loved.
