Read full description of the books Bleach #72: My Last Words:I really enjoyed this volume of Bleach! i feel like it is its big comeback. so many shocking and exciting and cool things happen in it. i think all the hype of having not read any Bleach chapters in so long really helped out with making me enjoy reading this volume too. and also the hype of reading it aloud with my sister. and also all the hype/comedy from other bleach reviewers on youtube. i would have been fully willing to give this vol a 5 star rating if the last chapter hadnt completely RUINED the vibes! SMH! it was just full of ass and vulgar/unfunny jokes. it really ruined the momentum. but other then that, i have no complaints.
i mean the pacing, the matchups, the cousin-brother bromance between ISHIDAA and KUROSAKII! it was all so hype.
i really hope Kubo keeps this hype going for the following vols, otherwise i will bust a gut with frustration! i just hate it when i can see Kubo's former glory right within the palms of my hands and he throws it away to satisfy his strange sense of humor. DO NOT DISAPPOINT ME!!
Read information about the author久保 帯人, also transliterated Taito Kubo, or Jiu bao dai ren.
The son of a town council member in Fuchu, Aki District, Hiroshima. He never took drawing seriously until he was 17; after reading Dragon Ball he knew he wanted to be a manga artist. At the age of 18 he submitted his first concept for the series Zombiepowder but it got rejected. Zombiepowder was rejected multiple times until Kubo was 22, when it finally was accepted by Shonen Jump. It did not last long; it was cancelled after four volumes in late 2000.
His next series, Bleach, about a high school student who becomes a shinigami and fights hollows, was not such a failure. Bleach began regular publication in 2001. It has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump ever since.
