In Bleach, Volume 50: The Six Fullbringers, Kūgo Ginjō reveals his plan of how to help Ichigo get his Soul Reaper powers back. He reveals how the Fullbringers got their powers and the role he hopes Ichigo, Chad, and the rest of his team will play in his plan.

Like I said in my review for the last volume, this is Bleach back to its roots. The feeling of this volume is very similar to the Soul Reaper story arc. Tite Kubo reinvented the same wheel but somehow makes it even more exciting and fun.

The fun, silly humor is back in full force and I couldn't be happier. Sure, some of it is over-the-top (Riruka, for instance) but that's what makes Bleach so much fun and addictive. I love how ridiculous it can be in one moment and then the next have you wrought with emotions. You go from laughing to wanting to cry to jumping out of your seat cheering Ichigo on. This is why I love Bleach.

Riruka is so incredibly silly. I love her reaction to Ichigo. Why, yes, Riruka...Ichigo has turned into quite the hottie.

Another hilarious moment was when Shishigawara attempts to attack Orihime, but is blown away from her hotness! So silly! I love it.

It was so exciting to see Ichigo discover his powers again. I do wish he had figured it out on his own instead of Chad telling him how to do it. Given a few more minutes, he might have got it. It was thrilling to see those words: "Getsuga Tenshō!"

But, dang, it looks like a swastika!

There is a new villain in town and he is a reader!! His Fullbringer powers uses a bookmark! A bookmark! Me thinks I might be in love!

Helloooooo, Tsukishima-san!

It was also very exciting to see some old familiar faces. I'm looking forward to finding out what Isshin and Kisuke are up to. Also, I got chills when Ichigo thought he heard Rukia's voice coming from his Deputy Soul Reaper badge. Because you know what that means...Soul Reaper captains will be coming soon!! Woohoo! BYAKUYA!!!! (hide spoiler)]

I hope this series never ends. It's just such a good time. After reading some other manga in the interim of waiting for these new volumes to come out, nothing quite hits the spot like Bleach does. That's not to say there aren't other manga out there that are better. It's just that this series has a certain magic for me that I can't get enough of.

The son of a town council member in Fuchu, Aki District, Hiroshima. He never took drawing seriously until he was 17; after reading Dragon Ball he knew he wanted to be a manga artist. At the age of 18 he submitted his first concept for the series Zombiepowder but it got rejected. Zombiepowder was rejected multiple times until Kubo was 22, when it finally was accepted by Shonen Jump. It did not last long; it was cancelled after four volumes in late 2000.

His next series, Bleach, about a high school student who becomes a shinigami and fights hollows, was not such a failure. Bleach began regular publication in 2001. It has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump ever since.
